Just a little biography to begin my website:

I have always been a more 'practical' person than studious, so loved making things and doing practical jobs.

I left school with Art qualifications and did a National Diploma in Art & Design at college and various other courses through the years, and more recently a Flower Arranging course.

I had always admired arrangements my mum had done years ago at a school night-class but hadn't the interest then. But some years later, it was an Aunt who brought the interest back to me. When my Auntie Florence started taking some classes from her home it was then that my love of working with flowers, and what amazing ideas could be created, caught my interest. Although I was at college at the time, I went to her classes when I could, but back then there were certain 'rules' which had to be applied within Flower Arranging.

Nowadays, with the 'modern times', the 'rules' don't have to apply - the imagination is used to its fullest!  So really, I think my gratitude has to go to my mum and aunt, and of course my teachers in Floral Art!
